What are Chakras?
Wheel-like vortices or “force centers’ permeating from a point in the physical body to the outermost layers of the subtle body in an ever-increasing fan formation. These rotating wheels are considered focal points in the reception and transmission of energy. Each Chakra corresponds with a different energy, color, body part, function, and emotional energy. The Chakras run along the base of the spine (root) and move upward toward the skull (crown). The Chakras are a meeting point of body and mind and spirit and matter. They have been called “windows to the soul” because they provide us with subtle connections to consciousness.
