Pre-order the Kraken mug!
*Pre-order designs take anywhere from 4-6 weeks, depending on where I am at in my firing cycle. It tends to take about a month to build enough wares to fill the entire kiln to fire up.
*Please note every mug is handmade and is intended to be unique and one of a kind. Mug will be inspired by the following images, but differences may apply. Tentacles may twist and turn in different directions, glazes may come out slightly different due to various firing circumstances (such as location in the kiln, kiln ramp speed, etc.)
*For custom orders, I will keep in contact with you on progress and estimated delivery time.
*If there are any changes you would like to make to customize the design, please feel free to reach out! I am willing to work with you to create your custom mug.
_______________
Handmade 12-14oz ceramic mug with tentacles enveloping a wooden โshipโ texture.
Please note this mug design will be slightly heavier than most of my mugs, due to the weight of the added tentacles. Handles have a strong bond, but it would be recommended to use both hands when lifting a full cup!

Originating in Scandinavian folklore, the Kraken was a legendary giant sea monster known for its ability to sink ships with its enormous tentacles. It was mentioned by name in a manuscript from 1180 by Norwegian King Sverre and in an Icelandic hero-saga named Orvar-Oddr.
If facing the vast open ocean, battling storms and treacherous waves wasnโt enough; The Kraken became a fear amongst sailors, who would return home from sea with stories, instilling fear to all who would listen to the tales of this giant cephalopod monster.
Legends describe the witnessing of other ships far in the distance, meeting their doom-filled fate. A colossal body, described as large as an island, with tentacles so enormous it could snap and capsize even the mightiest of ships, dragging sailors to the darkest ocean depths.
A symbol of the fear of the unknown depths of the ocean; with the continuous mystery of what lurks below.
